Project Overview

Painted Life has been the chief videographer and editor for the official Birmingham Pride videos since 2015.

Every year we film the parade, then run back to the media suite to edit it together to be released online that evening. Then we head out to document the rest of the festival which we have edited for the end of the festival. The view count and organic reach for these videos were always massive. I remember one year hopping on the train home only to hear the video I’d put together being played on peoples phones all around me by strangers. That was a fun feeling!
