Creative Director: Aaron Child
Aaron is the cameraman, editor and creative mind behind Painted Life’s films. He likes daylight bulbs, wooly jumpers, and one day aspires to have a tattoo of a frog.
At University, Aaron threw himself into his work and often other peoples. By graduation he came away with first class honours and the “Award For Outstanding Achievement”.
He returned home to Shrewsbury and found temporary work as a waiter. After many broken plates, and a slippery spaghetti incident, Aaron decided that perhaps he should try and make a living out of something he was good at.
In December 2012 he officially started his business “Painted Life Productions” Since then he has made over 100 films, he has appeared in the Shropshire star several times, won the critics choice award for his teams 48 hour film challenge entry, and has recently gained national recognition with his Christmas Countdown Shrewsbury project which had a segment on ITV news.
Visual Effects: Tony Rowlands
Often referred to as “CGI Tony” in a strong italian accent, Tony helps bring imagination to life in many of Painted Life’s films.
From 3D worlds to animated graphics, Tony can create almost anything from scratch which makes him a perfect member of the Painted Life team.
Aaron met Tony during a university project and they discovered that they had a great deal in common. They share the same birthday, as well as a love for perfectly dishevelled facial hair and the smash hit film “Mean Girls”.
More importantly, they both like a good challenge and always try to push their skills to the limits.
