About Painted Life
What is Painted Life? What do they want? Has the change in the logo design got anything to do with Aaron’s recent lack of hair? These are just some of our most FAQ’s, and the answer to all of them is… yes.
Meet Aaron
Aaron is the founder of Painted Life. In 2012 he graduated from Performance and Media with first class honours at the University of South Wales, also receiving the Award for Outstanding Achievement. After this, he had several temporary jobs in the hospitality industry, but after accidentally spraying whipped cream in a customers face he decided he should quit (he got fired) and try his hand at something he was actually good at and so, Painted Life was born.
Fast forward several years and hundreds of films later, Aaron now focuses his attention on projects that make him and other people happy. He loves working with clients that share his business ethics and excitement for creative exploration. Aside from working with individual clients, Aaron has always enjoyed putting together creative campaigns. The idea that multiple businesses working together in the same project to build each other up just makes so much sense. ‘Tastes Like’ and ‘Tallulah’s View’ are the latest of these projects.
Our Creative Team
Aaron is very transparent about his flaws. For instance, he loves coffee but can NOT make good coffee. The same goes for many areas of filmmaking. Which is why he has a team of greatly skilled people who are very very good and the things that he is bad at.

Founder, Filmmaker, editor. Aaron turns up, points his camera everywhere, then leaves. A short time later, you end up with a film you can love more than your secret collection of novelty Christmas jumpers.
Alana
Project Manager
The chameleon on set and in the office, Alana plays an important role in many of our shoots. Whether that’s set designing, hand modelling, presenting or providing Voice Overs, her many skills make her a key part of the team. She is also here to keep you connected and updated with your projects.
Nick Watts
Designer
Whenever there is creative work to be done, Nick will be on it like a flash. He’s got a personality like Batman – deadpan, moody and works late at night to make sure everything is looking tip top for the videos!
Gareth
Music Producer
He could take nails on a chalkboard and make it sound like an angelic choir. A master of cinematic soundtracks, Gareth is a very talented composer and producer and brings our bespoke soundtracks that quality edge.
Tony
CGI Animator
Want to make a pig talk? Or see yourself flying in space? Tony can make all of your wildest dreams come true. With the ability to take, morph and animate anything you throw at him, Tony is our CGI man who well and truly can.
Saffi
Illustrator
With an illustrative style that we adore, Saffi brings a unique skillset to our team. From storyboards to hand-drawn graphics, her imagination and ability to visualise ideas is downright genius.
